Ibaraki Airport Welcomed TransAsia Airways’ Chartered Flight from Taipei, Taiwan!

On Friday, November 23rd, Ibaraki Airport welcomed an international chartered flight from Taipei, Taiwan operated by TransAsia Airways.
Through this chartered flight, a tour of 4 days and 3 nights around Taiwan was conducted for travelers from Japan, and also, a tour group from Taiwan arrived at Ibaraki Airport.
Ibaraki Airport gave travelers from Taiwan a warm welcome with a banner that said “Welcome to Ibaraki!” Airport goods and sightseeing brochures were presented to the travelers as souvenirs and a way to promote Ibaraki Prefecture.
TransAsia Airways is scheduled to operate 44 inbound programmed charter flights from the end of January, 2013 until the end of April, 2013.

- Destination: Kairakuen Garden, Ryujin Suspension Bridge, Fukuroda Falls (4 days and 3 nights)

- We’ve visited Japan four times but it’s our first time to come to Ibaraki. We are looking forward to a tour course that includes Fukushima. (Couple in their 60s)
