Opening of Tax-Free shop

A Tax-Free shop in Ibaraki Airport will start its business selling goods consumption tax free from February 8.
We will hold an event to commemorate the opening as follows and look forward to seeing you at Ibaraki Airport.
Event details
- Date: Thursday February 8, 2024 from 12:00 to 15:00
- Place: In front of the stained glass on the 1st floor of Ibaraki Airport Terminal Building
- Activities:
① Distribution of flyers with discount ticket notifying the opening
② Giveaway of a small bag of sweets
③ Taking commemorative photo with “Omitan” the mascot of Omitama City
④ Distribution of brochures, playing video, and displaying posters for promotion of tourism of Omitama City

- Business hour: Time depends on departure flight schedule
※From 2 hours before departure to the start of boarding - Others: The shop is available when you fly abroad from Ibaraki Airport.
