Ibaraki Airport Launches Air Cargo Handling Services!!

As of 22nd May 2012, Ibaraki Airport has started to handle import air cargo using the belly space of Spring Airlines aircrafts (Ibaraki=Shanghai).
For the time being, this service will handle import goods such as garments, general merchandise, spare parts, documents, etc.
Five boxes arrived as the first shipment with “First Shipment Shanghai→Ibaraki” written in red. This was the trial shipment and contained inter-company supplies such as stationary for the air cargo forwarder.
