Passengers utilizing Ibaraki Airport and staying at hotels, inns and other accommodation facilities in Ibaraki Prefecture can get a special offer of using access buses for free both ways between Ibaraki Airport and Mito station or Ishioka station during “ Ibaraki After DC” (from October 1 through December 31, 2024).
Applicable Passengers
Passengers applicable to the access bus for free between Ibaraki Airport Mito station or Ishioka station are required to meet the two conditions below.
- Condition 1. To fly into Ibaraki Airport during the applicable period
- Condition 2. To stay at hotels, inns and other accommodation facilities in Ibaraki Prefecture
Applicable Period
From Tuesday October 1 through Tuesday December 31, 2024
How to use the benefit
Ibaraki Airport → Mito station or Ishioka station
- 1. Please show at the information counter on the first floor of Ibaraki Airport your boarding pass of the flight(on the arriving day), together with documents(paper describing the booking contents, booking screen or others) to prove booking hotels, inns and other accommodation facilities in Ibaraki Prefecture(during a week from the arriving day). In exchange, you will receive a free one-way ticket for the access bus.
- 2. Please hand in the free one-way ticket to the bus conductor when you pay the fare. (The ticket is valid even if get off the bus before Mito station or Ishioka station.)
This ticket is valid only on the arriving day.
Mito station or Ishioka station → Ibaraki Airport
When getting on an access bus, please show the bus conductor one of the following documents to prove your stay. ( Refer to the following.)
Documents to prove your stay
- Accommodation Certificate
- A receipt issued by the accommodation facility. (A copy is acceptable.)
- (When travelling by a tour group,) a receipt of the tour group and the itinerary. (Documents to prove payment and stay at accommodation facility in Ibaraki) (A copy is acceptable.)
- Documents submitted will not be returned.
- When you get off the bus before Ibaraki Airport, the benefit is invalid and standard fare is required to pay.
Accommodation Certificate
Accommodation Certificates in any style prepared by accommodation facilities will do.
If not available, please use a form on the following link. Or you can use a form printed on the back of a flyer prepared at Ibaraki Airport.
In case of stay as a group of two or more people
When a passenger stays with the family or a group, please ask accommodation facilities to write down the number of people on the Accommodation Certificate.
Valid Period of documents proving your stay
The documents are valid for a week from the day you leave your accommodation facility.
Ex. When you leave your hotel on Monday, you can use the fare free one-way ticket till Sunday.
You cannot get the benefit without any documents to prove your stay. Standard fare is required to pay.
